The weekend was good. I had a good time with Natalie and the kids. I am in awe of her juggling abilities with them. it is truly a art form. She is the perfect example of a mom. we spent time at the park and all the kids seem to take well to me.
I had written a version of this before and have reworked it after a lot of thinking.

My brown eyed girl. She captures the night in her eyes and stars in her hair. The smile and joy in her face can hardly contain the fun and spontaneity in her soul. She's the free spirit sent to play with us. Her voice is full of laughter and the joy of innocence long gone from this world. She is quick to feel and experience the world around her. She mirrors her mother in beauty and love..but follows her own path towards happiness and joy. To know her is to know childlike love and abandon. That all things will be alright and fairytales do come true. That feelings run deep and compassion and love can rule the world. To hear her say I love you just melts any hardness or sadness away and replace it with awe and wonderment.
Life will never be the same again.

When I first talked with her it was instant connection. As time has gone by and we have spent time together I have come to realize how important we are to each other. It is kind of scary but very happy feeling as well. I adore her and love her unconditionally as I do her mom. She is a beautiful person both inside and out and a caring, loving soul. Her mom did a great job. No matter what turns life brings I always want to have her in it. She may not be mine legally or biologically but we connect in all the ways that matters. If this is what it means to be a parent then all I have to say is Wow. I don't think I ever realized how much she meant to me till yesterday or i realized but not to THAT degree.
